To continue with our intermission while I get a few hard miles done to catch my flight from Sydney to Tokyo, here is a little clip from my 2008 world ride which I called 'Parallel World'. I rode around the world the longest way I could find in the shortest time - up and down all the major continents whilst travelling west to east clocking up 38,000 miles (61,155 kms) - yep, quite a monster ride and done in 5 months - I was actually taking my time. This clip was in Queensland Australia where I got stopped by my first red light in 4000 miles. If there was an award for the most pointless location for traffic lights I reckon this would win it.
